EXPELLER OILS
Expeller pressed oils are oil that has been extracted from nuts, seeds, grain and other natural sources by expeller pressing. This simply means that they have been squeezed by an expeller machine until all the oil has been pressed from the source.
Expeller pressed oils are usually expensive, probably due to the fact that nuts and seeds only yield 66% oil when they are 100% natural. Expeller pressed oil manufacturers usually opt to leave their products chemically untreated and have lower yield as opposed to dousing them in chemicals which may leave residues in the oil.
This is one of the benefits of using expeller pressed oils, it is usually 100% natural. No chemicals, no additives and preservatives, just 100% pure oil. Another wonderful benefit is that because they are less volatile, they evaporate less, so a little expeller oil goes a long way.

KETTLE COOKING
Potato chips can be made in a number of different ways using a variety of different technologies. Kettle cooking relates to a frying process whereby the uncooked chips are dumped into a large kettle and fried for a couple of minutes. The potato slices are stirred around in the kettle continuously to insure a consistent chip is produced. If you were to attempt to make chips at home you would essentially use the same process - heat oil in a large pot (or kettle), drop the sliced potatoes into the oil and fry for a specified period.
The kettle cooking process generally results in a crisper, crunchier chip than chips produced in a continuous fryer or a vacuum fryer (for your information, a continuous fryer consists of a conveyer belt on which the potato slices are carried into a very hot oil bath located in what looks like a big metal box for a short period of time and then carried out be seasoned/salted). Some chips like Pringles or Stax are not really chips at all since they are made essentially out of potato flour and a dough is formed and then either fried in a continuous fryer or baked.

NON GMO CORN
Genetically modified (GM) foods are derived from organisms whose DNA has been modified through genetic engineering unlike similar food organisms developed through the conventional genetic modification of selective breeding (plant breeding and animal breeding) or mutation breeding. GM foods were first put on the market in the early 1990s. Typically, genetically modified foods are plant products: soybean, corn, canola and cotton seed oil. Critics have objected to GM foods on several grounds, including perceived safety issues, ecological concerns and economic concerns raised by the fact that these organisms are subject to intellectual property law.
